a contract and for scheduling information. Pricing applicable to all contracts signed before 12/31/24.

Due to distance, any venue in excess of either a 3-hour drive or 125 miles will require a lecture
plus one workshop as well as overnight accommodations. Any booking in excess of a 2 hour drive or 100 miles will require overnight accommodations.
CANCELLATIONS Event(s) cancelled by the organization within 30 days of the scheduled date will be assessed a $100 cancellation fee and advanced travel expenses incurred will be forfeited.
LECTURES are $450 plus mileage (lodging if necessary).
ZOOM PRESENTATIONS
Lectures are presented via Nestlings' Zoom account.
No recording of presentation is allowed (just as if LIVE).
Presentation will be a mix of Power Point pics of quilts
along with live close ups, and Q&A.
Some ZOOM WORKSHOPS are available and occasionally as individual open enrollment.
WORKSHOPS are priced at $400 for half day and $800 for a full day.
Plus travel and lodging expenses.
Any kit fees are listed with the workshop.
For mileage estimates I am in Fox Lake, Illinois (Chicago area/O'Hare airport).
PS: you can save on lodging in these areas as I have family that will put me up & put up with me:)

I have always loved the red and green applique quilts of the mid 1800s. As I officially began my path to becoming a certified appraiser my studies brought me closer to the quilts I adore. The designer in me was fascinated by this era of creating their own designs too.
I have assembled a collection of quilts that are not in the greatest shape but still so beautiful in their history and imperfections.

AQ Magazine's 2018 Series quilt, "Robin's Wreaths" is now available in a workshop format. This 6 hour workshop will focus on the hand work basics of bias tape making, needle turn applique' and embroidery.
Skill Level: ALL Length: 6 Hours Students will learn my methods using the "Hearts in Bloom" block. Class packed full of tips and techniques that can be applied to other quilting endeavors. This design inspired workshop will customize your orphan block into a mini wall hanging. Let's clean out those closets!
"Dancing Daffodil" (shown on top) is just one example of what can be done with an orphan block. This sweet circa 1930 nine patch was expanded with a custom design daffodil header to create a 9" x 12" miniature.
The daffodil was replicated from the green/black print in the nine patch.
"I CAN'T DRAW", you say. NO PROBLEM! Let me walk you through the hacks for drawing using simple shapes. Custom templates will also be available.

is what I needed because I cannot be the only one who kills plants!
No water needed.
Change the color of the Ribbon to match the recipient's need.
